What women accessing Operation Courage had to say:
“All I needed was someone to believe me and support me about the abuse I was going through. Someone to listen to me and inform me of options I could do to leave the abuse”
“If Operation didn’t support me I would never have left”
“I worried about not eligible to receive support due to my financial position being better off than some other women. It is nice not to be criticised because of the choices I make and your supportive words have really resonated with me.”
“Staff gave me information about services available to meet my families needs”
“The panic alarm made me feel safe”
